They will allow pets but all cats must be penned up in the
rooms at all times.

Show Information
Show Hours: Vetting in
will be from 7.15- 8.50am on Saturday. 8.00—8.50am on Sunday. Judging will start
promptly at 9.00am. Advertised show hours are until 5.00pm. In consideration of
paying spectators, no cats may be removed from the show hall before the end of
the advertised show hours without the show manager’s permission. Bengal
exhibitors please see the additional rule below.

please note, to ensure congresses count towards TICA points for as many
exhibitors as possible no Bengals may leave the show before judging of the
Bengal Congresses and Alters Class has been Completed, (even if normal judging
in all 6 rings has finished)
Show Rules: TICA show rules
will be strictly enforced. Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with these
rules. By entering all exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the Judges
and Show Committee. Rules can be obtained for $7.00 from TICA, P.O. Box 2684,
Harlingen, TX 78551 or from www.tica.org.
Benching And Supplies: The club
will provide a double pen (2ft x 4ft x 2ft) for each cat entered. Exhibitors may
bring their own pen. Two cats or kittens entered by the same exhibitor can both
be put in the same double pen to qualify for a discount (See entry fees).
Vending/sales from the benching area is prohibited, there will be no
cats/kittens for sale allowed in the show hall. Litter bins will be
provided—please bring your own cat litter, litter trays, cat food, dishes and
cage curtains/drapes (optional)
N.B: Individual exhibitors are responsible for keeping their pen area
clean & will be liable for any additional cleaning charges incurred by the club.
E.g. As a result of grooming powder on carpet.
Health Requirements: This is a
vetted show. Cats showing signs of ear mites, fleas, fungus or any
other illness will not be permitted in the show hall. The decision
of the duty vet is final. All entries should have an up to date
vaccination record for immunisation against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu
available for inspection. Any cat or kitten from a house or
cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness
within 21 days prior to the opening of the show is ineligible for entry and/or
exhibition. Any cat which is obviously pregnant or lactating will be
disqualified. All claws (front and back) must be clipped prior to
vetting in and judging.
Entry Fees: Entry fees cover
judging in 6 rings, 1 catalogue per entry form, 1 entry pass per cat entered and
penning/benching.
Bengal owners: all entire adults and kittens will automatically be judged in the
Bengal congress at no extra charge. Bengal Neuters will also be judged in the
fun neuter class.

Entry fees include 1 pass per cat entered. Additional passes are £2.00
per adult, OAP &
children - 50p each. Please specify quantities required on entry form.
N.B: All pens are double pens. Maximum of 2 cats per double pen/bench space.
Registration: With the
exception of Korats, New Traits, Preliminary New Breeds and Advanced New Breeds,
registration with TICA is not necessary to compete for a cat’s first show but is
required for confirmation of titles and scoring for TICA Regional and
International awards.
Household Pets: HHPs over 8
months of age must be spayed or neutered. HHPs are judged in all rings and in
order to claim titles regional and international awards they must be registered
with TICA. If you are unsure of your cat’s colour or division please send a
colour photo of your cat along with your entry. Your photo will be returned.
Kittens: Kittens entered in the
show must be at least 4 calendar months but less than 8 months of age on the day
of the show. Altered kittens are eligible for entry.

is Birmingham International. The nearest station is Birmingham International.
The hotels and club cannot provide transport.
Liability: The Bengal Cat Club
Of Great Britain and North Solihull Sports Centre will not be held liable for
injury, loss or damage to cats, kittens, exhibitors, spectators or property of
exhibitors, spectators or vendors, or other such persons or property in
attendance.
